About The 1904 Lumber Company
We are a small family business, operating a TimberKing 1620 sawmill after hours and on weekends.
We offer a variety of live-edge slabs upon request. Black Walnut, White Oak, Red Oak, Pecan, Ash, and Hickory. Our slabs are fresh-cut and air dried. (NOT kiln-dried)
We offer rough cut lumber suitable for framing and construction of barns, outbuildings, trailer flooring, etc. Our lumber is fresh cut and air dried. (NOT kiln-dried)
Our dimensional pine lumber is native Shortleaf Pine, sourced locally in Latimer County Oklahoma. Shortleaf pine has long been prized for its strength and durability, however it is increasingly hard to find in this day and age. Having been largely displaced in commercial forestry operations by the faster growing loblolly pine. When you buy a pine board from 1904 lumber, you're buying something that you can't get at the big box store.
Likewise, our hardwood lumber is milled from native trees growing in the bottom-lands and uplands of western Latimer County.
Our goal is to provide a refreshing alternative to the big-box stores. An experience more like the good old days, when you could actually get to know the merchants you were dealing with.
Give us a call. If we can help you, we will... and if we can't, we'll be honest enough to tell you we can't.
